Growing Up and Dressing Up
GROWING UP:
Within the past couple of weeks, Gracie has done two things she's never done before: 1-asked me to put eye shadow on her and 2-rolled her eyes (in disgust) at me.1-
and
This is her and daddy's impression of the eye roll she gave me at dinner. Notice the little bitty hair clip on her head. She wanted it out, I told her "No, it has to stay on because it is holding your bangs back" to which she rolled her eyes at me. Because I had seen her roll her eyes one other time at Evan, I knew what she was doing. I tried really hard and did not laugh. However, Nick didn't know that this was her eye roll and thought she was just making a face, so he started laughing, which didn't help the situation, because she then kept rolling her eyes, being funny, of course, which is how I got the picture above.DRESSING UP:
Gracie disappeared into my room today, only to come out wearing my shoes. This has become a norm around my house. She calls it "dressing up". Because it is always so cute to see kids wearing their parent's shoes, I decided to take pictures of her. I guess this encouraged her to "dress up" some more. I took pictures of almost every pair of shoes she walked out in. Take a look:
And the Grand Finale:
Daddy Comes Home, Putt-Putt, & Go Karts
After Daddy came home, we went to putt-putt:
Check out that last picture-this is how she got the ball in the hole every time-caught ya Gracie!
The next day, Evan went go karting for the 1st time (Gracie was going to go too, but when we tried to put her in the go kart she got scared and opted out)

WOW! Where has time gone?? I've been so busy with school, kids, life in general. Here's just some of what we've been up to over the past two months.
EVAN GRADUATED...here are some pics of him with his teacher and classmates. No pics from the graduation because I was busy with the video camera.
